Education. State and Local Government. It's what we do. And it's what we have done for over eighty years.
At Bishop Brooks, each and every attorney deals with education and government clients regularly. There are no practice groups ─ we are the practice group. We are firmly committed to the representation of local government, boards of education, and related clients as we have been since the very beginning.
We have built our practice on tirelessly finding ways to meet our clients' needs, vision, and goals. For generations, local boards of education, cities, the State of Alabama, its universities and numerous public and semi-public institutions have trusted us to deliver solid advice, service, and creative ideas. Those same clients have depended on us to protect their interests as well and we take pride in doing so thoughtfully and vigorously.
Relationships matter. Both with your attorneys and between your attorneys and others. We understand that and stay focused on making those relationships good ones. We understand that what we do reflects upon our clients, especially in the public arena. When we put our best foot forward, we put yours forward as well. We don't think that being good lawyers and nice people have to be mutually exclusive.
The easiest answer in the world for an attorney is no. It is also the most disheartening and counterproductive. We believe there is a way to answer yes (even if it is a qualified "yes") to every question. Sometimes we have to hunt for it. And having access to decades of experience for public clients means we don't have to reinvent the wheel finding it.
At Bishop Brooks, we love problem solving. More often than not, we can help you take care of the mole-hill before it turns into a mountain. Sometimes, that takes strategic thinking outside the box. It starts with listening, paying attention and a little bit of intuition. We think that is what our clients are looking for in their attorneys and we work hard to deliver exactly that.
Alabama State Bar Rules require the following: No representation is made that the quality of the legal services to be performed is greater than the quality of legal services provided by other lawyers.
